Description
This attractive large shrub/small tree is popular in Cairns gardens. Growing between 4 and 8m in height it is an ideal sized plant for the average house block. Not only does the little evodia provide a beautiful floral display, its leaves are food for the caterpillar of the famous Ulysses Butterfly, attracting mature butterflies to the garden.
Cultivation
Melicope rubra will thrive in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. It is easily propagated from fresh seed.
